From Production to Physical: The Lazard Studios Build

The Vision

For years, my world was defined by the fast-paced coordination of TV production—balancing the creative vision with the logistics of management. It’s a world of digital assets, schedules, and screens. But lately, my passion has shifted from managing the "big picture" to perfecting the "tangible detail."

Lazard Studios is evolving. I’m moving away from just directing the creative flow and getting back to the workbench.

The "Why" Behind the Build This workshop isn’t just a storage unit for gear; it’s a dedicated space for Craft Design. My goal is to merge the traditional disciplines of woodwork and metalwork with the precision of modern technology.

I’ve always had a deep desire to create pieces that aren't just functional, but beautiful. Whether it’s a custom set piece for a production or a bespoke furniture commission, this space will be where digital design meets sawdust and steel.

Visualising where the CNC and the workbench will live. Space is the ultimate luxury in craft.

The Current State

As you can see from the progress photos, the skeleton is up. We’re at the "groundwork" stage—the same place every great production starts. It’s raw, it’s exciting, and it’s the start of a new chapter for Lazard Studios.

I’ll be posting updates here as the walls go up, the tools move in, and the first chips start to fly.

Have a project that needs a mix of tech and timber? Let’s talk.
